It is no secret that it’s been increasingly harder to get a new position using the traditional job search methods such as applying directly through a company’s website. Instead, let's focus on what you can do to stand out as a jobseeker and make sure that recruiters and hiring managers are finding and choosing you over other candidates. Below you’ll find three unique ways to get a job fast.

“I’m short-tempered with my husband and kids, have no energy, and no time for myself. I hate my job which means I feel unhappy at work most of the time. Sounds glorious, doesn’t it?” I was talking to a woman who knew she needed something in her life to change but had no idea what that was or where to start. At this point, the only thing she was certain of was that living her life this way for much longer wasn’t a possibility. 

“Wouldn’t it be cool if we could help other women find their purpose?” My team and I were in the middle of one of our brainstorming sessions and trying to determine our focus for the business over the next year. In trying to understand exactly what our community needed from us, it was clear that women were struggling to figure out what career they wanted. 

“This is scary how spot on this is,” I remember thinking not too long ago. I had just joined a business mastermind and one of the first onboarding items was to take the 16Personalities test. At first, I was annoyed at having to spend a few minutes on what I thought would be a waste of time. Then, the results showed up in my inbox.

A few years ago I was fortunate enough to find my purpose. Now, I’m working hard to help other women find theirs. Recently, I had the opportunity to interview four women who have also gone through the process of finding themselves.
